Leon's Gourmet Coffee and Tea commits to Fair Trade.

Leon’s Gourmet Coffee and Tea recommits to Fair Trade Practices.
Leon’s Gourmet Coffee and Tea CEO Mathilda Barnes-Roberts announced today we are more committed than ever to Fair Trade since news of the our company’s failure to properly source coffee beans was released last month.
Leon’s Gourmet Coffee and Tea is working closely with Fair Trade USA to ensure that 100% of their coffee and teas come from Fair Trade Certified farmers.
“This is something that affects all of us” stated Barnes-Roberts after a board meeting. “It is vital not just to our company’s future, but the future of our growers that we do everything we can to ensure that all of products are Fair Trade Certified.”
Fair Trade coffee imports have steadily risen, and that will only continue. Leon’s Gourmet Coffee and Tea is striving to be the largest Fair Trade importer on the East Coast.

We will updating our blog weekly with updates on our progress. Please keep checking back for the latest news!
